Originally from China, Emily Ge Wagner is an editor/AE based in Los Angeles. She is passionate about helping directors bring their visions to life and making their stories more powerful through editing.
She discovered her love for editing when she was participating in the Television Master program at Boston University.
After graduation, she started off as a trailer editor and got her first breakthrough when promoted to be the lead editor for the docu-series Being: Season 2, which was aired on BET Her.
Over the past ten years, Ge has worked with many talented filmmakers as a freelance editor/AE. In 2021, she was selected for Project Involve by Film Independent. She is interested in working on stories involving human experience and genuine emotion.
As an editor, her goal is to inspire reflection and conversation about real issues through her work.
Aside from movies, she enjoys board games (Terraforming Mars, Gloomhaven, etc), good food, kickboxing and a nice walk bathing in the California sunshine.
